17:21 CET - Finley Crebolder at the O2 Arena: It always felt like this tournament would come down to whether Team Europe's star men Alcaraz and Zverev delivered, and that proved to be the case. It was Alcaraz's remarkable win over Taylor Fritz last night that brought Europe back into the battle, and Zverev who sealed the deal.
It was never really in doubt that he'd do so in that second set, with the German serving excellently - he lost just four points on his first serve - and Tien fading on the other side of the net.
The final scoreline of 13-5 feels somewhat misleading given just how fine the margins were in so many of the matches, but the hosts ultimately lived up to their billing as favourites.
While that has left the home crowd largely happy, there are a fair few here who are disappointed that they won't get to see Alcaraz, which is understandable given the magic he produced yesterday.
17:12 CET - Team Europe win the 2026 Laver Cup!
Alexander Zverev has got the job done, beating Learner Tien 7-6, 6-3 to get his team to the all-important 13 points and win them back the title!
16:38 CET - Finley Crebolder at the O2 Arena: Tien played a really good set there, serving well and producing some remarkable defensive tennis to save three break points at 5-5, helped by Zverev playing far too passively as he did on the big points yesterday.
However, the American couldn't maintain his high level in the tiebreak, and paid the price.
16:34 CET - Zverev has moved Team Europe to within one set of the Laver Cup title, winning a tight 73-minute opener with Tien 7-6.
The young American will now need to stage a comeback to keep Team World alive and this tournament going.
15:14 CET - Finley Crebolder at the O2 Arena: Mensik and Cobolli made a great combination there, with the former showing that he's a top doubles player throughout and the latter producing some crucial magic at the net at the end.
That leaves Team Europe as the heavy favourites, given that Alexander Zverev is up next for them in a clash with Learner Tien, and Carlos Alcaraz is waiting in the wings if the German doesn't finish the job.
15:02 CET - In the opening match of the Laver Cup's final day, Team Europe have moved to within one win of the title, with Jakub Mensik and Flavio Cobolli beating Alex De Minaur and Taylor Fritz 7-5, 6-3.
14:29 CET - The Czech ladies have won the Billie Jean King Cup for the 12th time in Shenzhen!
Linda Noskova has struck the decisive blow, winning her singles rubber against Elina Svitolina 6-4, 7-6(5) to seal a 2-0 win in the final against Ukraine. Earlier, Karolina Muchova breezed past Anhelina Kalinina 6-2, 6-3 to put one hand on the trophy for the team.
The Czechs have now won the tournament seven times as the Czech Republic, 12 times if you include the victories of Czechoslovakia. However, this is their first title since 2018, and their era of dominance headlined by Petra Kvitova.
Only the United States have won more BJK Cup titles, with 18.
