As it happened
21:00 CET - That's all from us today, but we'll be back with a new blog tomorrow to bring you live coverage of a huge LaLiga clash between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona - see you then!
20:50 CET - Not so long ago, Man City looked to have responded defiantly to the Premier League finding them guilty of numerous charges, but they've now lost three league matches in a row and trail Arsenal by six points.
With none of those losses coming to any of the other very best in England, either, this really has been a disastrous few weeks for Enzo Maresca and his side.
It could get worse tomorrow, when Brighton will have the chance to take second from them.

20:35 CET - As was clear to see when he ran down the touchline to celebrate his side's third goal, that's a huge win for Oliver Glasner. Given how willing Forest are to sack underperforming managers, it felt as if his job was in real danger at the start of the day, but he'll sleep easy tonight.
Putting an end to a five-match winless run and doing it against a side as good as City will no doubt buy him some time as he looks to get his project up and running.

20:23 CET - Nottingham Forest claim a shock win!
The hosts have claimed just their second victory of the league season and their first in just under three months, thanks to three stunning goals and some excellent defending at the other end.
In truth, City were well below their best. Outside of one moment of magic from Cherki, they never really looked like scoring, and it never felt likely that they would pull off a comeback, despite the fact that they had 78% possession.
Take nothing away from Forest though, who produced an excellent performance that puts them up to 16th and leaves Manchester United in the relegation zone.
20:06 CET - 3-1! Liam Delap does it again!
The hosts stage a rapid counter-attack that ends with the striker receiving the ball on the left side of the box and smashing it into the very top of the far corner!
His second of the game has left City with a huge mountain to climb. They need two goals in just over 10 minutes to avoid a shock defeat here.

19:55 CET - The visitors are really ramping up the pressure now, barely giving their opponents a touch of the ball and upping the tempo. If they want to win this match though, they need to find an equaliser quickly.

19:43 CET - Man City strike back with the third absolute beauty of the match! A bouncing ball falls to Rayan Cherki at the edge of the box, and he fires an incredible half-volley into the back of the net!
That might just be the best goal of the night so far, and it's brought City right back into this.
19:36 CET - Enzo Maresca has taken action, bringing Nico O'Reilly and Matheus Nunes on for Josko Gvardiol and Marc Guehi?
Will those changes spark a turnaround? Let's find out!
19:20 CET - That's that for the first half, and the hosts head down the tunnel with a 2-0 lead that they very much deserve.
After stunning City with a flying start, Oliver Glasner's side have looked good value for their lead, not seeing much of the ball but not giving much away either and having more efforts on goal.

19:15 CET - Cunha is having the dream first half. After scoring at one end, he's now stopped a goal at the other - Erling Haaland took the ball round the goalkeeper, but had his effort cleared off the line by the defender.
19:08 CET - 35 minutes in, Man City don't look like turning this match around - they've had 74% possession, but have threatened very little with it, taking just three shots as opposed to Forest's seven.
18:50 CET - It's 2-0 to the hosts! And the second goal is even better than the first!
Liam Delap picks up the ball just inside his own half, carries it all the way to the Man City box, and sends an unstoppable strike past Gianluigi Donnarumma!
What a goal and what a start!
18:37 CET - We're underway in Nottingham and the hosts have made a dream start!
They've taken the lead just five minutes in, with centre-back Cunha putting them ahead in stunning fashion! He wins the ball back in Man City's half, charges into the box and fires in the first league goal of his career!

17:57 CET - Arsenal are now six points clear of City, thanks to a 1-0 win at home over Hull City, with captain Martin Odegaard stepping up with the decisive goal late in the second half.
The Gunners' victory, narrow as it may be, heaps pressure on Maresca’s side to get all three points against Forest, with kick-off just over 30 minutes away!
Over in West London, meanwhile, Fulham and Newcastle have played out a 1-1 draw - a result which suits neither side, really, with both still outside the top 10 looking up.

17:26 CET - The lineups are for our featured match of the day. As expected, Erling Haaland will lead the line for the Cityzens, with Elliot Anderson in midfield on his return to the City Ground.
Former City men James McAtee and Liam Delap both start in Forest's attack, alongside talisman Morgan Gibbs-White.

16:52 CET - At half-time in the ongoing Premier League matches, it is goalless between leaders Arsenal and promoted Hull City, and also goalless between Fulham and Newcastle. Man City will be hoping Arsenal don't find a winner in the second half in North London, as that would see the Gunners go six points clear ahead of City's clash.
For Forest, they'll probably be rooting for a Newcastle win to keep Fulham around the relegation zone. A win for the Tricky Trees later today, as unlikely as it may seem, would see them jump out of the bottom three and send Manchester United into the relegation zone until tomorrow.
15:45 CET - Hello, and welcome to our live coverage of today's featured match - the Premier League clash between Nottingham Forest and Manchester City from 18:30 CET.
If you're just tuning in for the day, the Premier League action is already underway, with Leeds edging Spurs 1-0 in the early game and league leaders Arsenal coming up at 16:00 CET, at home to Hull City, as well as Fulham vs Newcastle.
Our attention, however, will be on Nottingham's City Ground, with troubled Forest looking for a first win in six matches this evening against Enzo Maresca's Man City.
City, themselves, are coming off a shock home loss to Brighton last weekend, and while they did win midweek in the Champions League, they'll still be hurting after Arsenal took a three-point lead in the standings.

One of the key narratives today will be the return to Nottingham of Elliot Anderson, who moved from Forest to City in the summer for a whopping €135 million, which briefly made the Englishman the most expensive British player in history.
Anderson has become a central figure for Maresca's side in the post-Pep Guardiola era, and he'll be looking to get his new club back on track in the league today.
On the other side of things, Forest's manager Oliver Glasner could hardly be under more pressure. With a trigger-happy owner peering over his shoulder, a damaging loss today could spell the end of the road for the Austrian, who only joined the club in July.
