Alcaraz will be the favourite to add to his eight Masters 1000 singles titles today, but don't write Shelton off completely - the American toppled the Spaniard when they last met at the US Open in September.
Shelton will be looking to seal his third Masters crown, and he is yet to lose in a 1000 event decider.
12:10 CET - Hello and welcome to our coverage of the 2026 ATP Paris Masters final, which will be contested between second seed Carlos Alcaraz and third seed Ben Shelton from 15:00 CET.
It's been an entertaining week at the season's last Masters event in the French capital, with big names tumbling out of the draw at breakneck speed. That left Alcaraz and Shelton as the only two of the original top 10 seeds alive by the round of 16, remarkably.
Alcaraz then edged Taylor Fritz in an instant-classic quarter-final, before overcoming Casper Ruud on Saturday to reach the final. Shelton, meanwhile, battled past Tommy Paul and Luca Van Assche, needing three sets both times, to book his spot in just his third Masters title match.

We're left with a mouthwatering final between two of the world's most exciting players. They have met four times previously, with Alcaraz leading the head-to-head 3-1. However, Shelton came out on top in their last meeting at the US Open.
Who will be lifting the title remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: We are guaranteed a new Paris Masters champion today!
