23:30 CET - That's all from our live coverage of the Paris Masters for today, and what a day it's been, with several big names tumbling out of the competition. Top seed Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Alex de Minaur and Frances Tiafoe all lost earlier to blow the field wide open.
Join us again tomorrow as the last 16 gets underway in the French capital!
See all the results from the Paris Masters here.
22:46 CET - In the final match of the program in Paris, home hope Arthus Fils has beaten Czech Tomas Machac 6-3, 7-6(4) to complete the last-16 bracket.
It's been a good day for Fils; not only has he progressed, but Frances Tiafoe's defeat earlier meant he sealed a spot at the ATP Finals for the very first time!

21:45 CET - In the penultimate match of the night at the Paris Masters, Jan-Lennard Struff has edged to victory in a three-set thriller against Thiago Tirante.
In a match that lasted almost two and a half hours and saw two tiebreaks, Jan-Lennard Struff came from a set down to win 6-7, 6-3, 7-6.

21:14 CET - After a day of upsets in Paris, world number three and second seed Carlos Alcaraz has routinely avoided one this evening after cruising to a 7-6, 6-3 win against American Alex Michelsen.
That is six wins in a row for Alcaraz after claiming the title in Vienna as he finally finds some consistent form ahead of the upcoming ATP finals.
20:30 CET - Matteo Berrettini has booked his place in the next round in Paris after a hard-fought 7-6, 7-5 victory against Frenchman Ugo Humbert.
It has been a difficult end to 2026 for Berrettini, but after a shock win against Brandon Nakashima in the previous round, he looks to be building some momentum here in Paris.
18:56 CET - Taylor Fritz has avoided being the latest casualty in Paris, but my word, was he given a fright. The 11th seed battled past Alex Molcan 6-7(8), 7-5, 7-6(5) in two hours and 32 minutes, securing his spot in the third round.
The American was in truly unbelievable serving form, hitting a staggering 37 aces.
Fritz still has a chance to qualify for the ATP Finals, but he will have to reach the final to do so. However, with the draw opening up so much, there is a real opportunity for him.
18:21 CET - Portuguese number one and lucky loser Nuno Borges is into the last 16 in Paris for the first time after a 6-4, 6-4 win over Karen Khachanov.
It was a stunning performance from Borges - one of his best of the season. He landed 80% first serves, hitting 11 aces and 24 winners to just 14 unforced errors.
Up next for him is Ignacio Buse. This tournament is wide open now.

18:00 CET - What on earth is going on in Paris today? Novak Djokovic is the next man to go tumbling out, suffering a shock loss against qualifier Rinky Hijikata from a set up, 6-2, 3-6, 3-6.
Hijikata played an exceptional match, hitting 41 winners and coming to the net off the serve regularly to give the seven-time champion a real headache. He will face Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the next round, with a huge opportunity for both.
For Djokovic, this now means he cannot qualify for the ATP Finals, while joining top seeds Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, Alex de Minaur and Frances Tiafoe in losing today. It is just the second time in 20 years that Djokovic has failed to reach the year-end event.
Tiafoe and Rafa Jodar remain in pole position to qualify for Turin, but should Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul reach the final of this event, then things could look very different.
16:43 CET - Another big name has gone tumbling out today, with fourth seed Daniil Medvedev falling to a 4-6, 4-6 loss at the hands of Peru's Ignacio Buse.
Buse, who was on a four-match losing streak ahead of Paris, is another player today who has claimed the biggest victory of their career after defeating the world number five.
The 22-year-old was a break down in the second set, but after having some issues with the umpire, Medvedev fell away, allowing Buse to get over the line.
16:10 CET - Alex de Minaur is OUT of contention to qualify for the ATP Finals after suffering a 6-7(2), 3-6 defeat to Tomas Martin Etcheverry.
Etcheverry has now notched the first top-10 win of his career, taking advantage of a pretty poor display from De Minaur, days after losing in the Vienna final. The Australian landed just 47% of first serves while hitting 17 winners to 28 unforced errors.
A real opportunity has now arisen for Novak Djokovic to sneak in and qualify for Turin...
15:25 CET - World number one and top seed Alexander Zverev has been dumped out of the Paris Masters in his opening match after being outclassed by Lorenzo Musetti, 7-6, 6-2.
That is Musetti's fourth win against the German, and after coming through in straight sets, it was a comprehensive and dominant win.
Since winning the title in Lyon last month, Musetti had a disappointing tournament in Vienna last week. However, he looks to be back playing to the level he showed in Lyon, and that makes him a serious threat in this tournament.
14:49 CET - There has been some good news for Arthur Fils, before he has even had to step onto court today!
After Frances Tiafoe's defeat, Fils has qualified for the ATP Finals for the very first time. A fantastic achievement for a player who made his return from a lengthy injury layoff this year.
14:40 CET - It has been a fabulous day for the French players, with Luca van Assche claiming a mighty impressive 7-6(4), 6-4 victory over Learner Tien.
Much like Quentin Halys earlier today, it is one of the biggest victories of his career, and he is into the last 16 of a Masters 1000 for the first time.
He will face the winner of Alexander Zverev vs Lorenzo Musetti.
13:50 CET - Tommy Paul has kept his slim hopes of qualifying for Turin alive, demolishing Daniel Merida Aguilar 6-1, 6-1 in just 49 minutes.
The American was imperious, hitting 22 winners to just nine unforced errors. He will have to reach the final in Paris to have a chance of qualifying for the ATP Finals.
He will face Quentin Halys in the third round.

13:16 CET - Home favourite Quentin Halys has just clinched the biggest win of his career, fending off four match points to defeat world number eight Frances Tiafoe, 6-3, 1-6, 7-6(9), in a thriller.
Halys trailed 3-5 in the final set, but Tiafoe was unable to hold onto his lead, being broken back before squandering four match points in the tiebreak.
It is a blow for the American as he aims to seal his spot in the ATP Finals, yet he could still seal his qualification today, but it no longer remains in his hands.
12:14 CET - Arthur Rinderknech is the first winner of the day, coasting to a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Mattia Bellucci in a little over an hour.
The Frenchman landed a whopping 88% of first serves, overpowering his opponent in front of the home fans.
It has been a tough year for Rinderknech, dropping to 61st in the world after reaching a career-high ranking of 24th in 2026. He will be hoping to end his season on a high in Paris.

11:07 CET - Right, we are minutes away from play getting underway, with home favourites Quentin Halys and Arthur Rinderknech facing Frances Tiafoe and Mattia Bellucci, respectively.

09:00 CET - Good morning and welcome to what looks set to be a fabulous day at the final Masters event of the year in Paris.
A jam-packed second round is on the cards, and first up on Centre Court at 11:00 CET is Frances Tiafoe against home favourite Quentin Halys. The American is in the hunt for a spot at the ATP Finals in Turin in a few weeks, and will need a good performance here in Paris.
That is followed by Alexander Zverev, who is taking part in his first tournament as world number one. The 2024 champion faces Lorenzo Musetti in what is a really exciting prospect.
Seven-time Novak Djokovic - another man aiming to qualify for the ATP Finals - meets qualifier Rinky Hijikata after the legendary Serb overcame Valentin Vacherot yesterday.
Later, Carlos Alcaraz begins his campaign with a very tricky match against Alex Michelsen, before Arthur Fils takes to the court in front of what is sure to be an adoring home crowd against Tomas Machac.

There are five matches to look forward to on Court 1, with Arthur Rinderknech, Learner Tien, Daniil Medvedev, and Karen Khachanov all gunning to reach the third round, before 2024 finalist Matteo Berrettini goes head-to-head to round out the day.
Court 2 also has several big names, as Tommy Paul, Alex de Minaur and Taylor Fritz are all in action.
